Disko Island offers a vast area of 8.578 km2 with numerous slopes in unique settings of basalt mountains, glaciers, and panoramic vistas of the sea. The highest peak of the island is 1919 meters above sea level. Like very few other places the Disko Island even allows the skier to ride all the way to the edge of the sea. Join one of our skilled guides from Greenland Extreme and set the very first lines on pristine slopes and powder runs. Our guides know every mountain top of the Island and will ensure you to reach the top of the best lines.

The expedition lasts 7 days of which 6 days in the mountains with 4 hours of heliskiing per day. We’ll have two helicopters at our disposal, which is unique in Greenland, and gives us more flexibility during your stay. The heliskiing time will naturally increase with bigger expedition groups of 16 participants
On the way to Disko Island, the expedition group will stay overnight in beautiful Ilulissat at the charming Hotel Icefiord. The stay in Ilulissat is the perfect opportunity to discover the Unesco Heritage site; the beautiful Icefiord of Ilulissat.
